Thank you for the enquiry regarding New Zealand Boxing Supplies range of products and services. We import equipment from all over the world, while using NZ made products wherever we can.
The company was started by myself, Brett Sample in 1997. This was done by accident with the importing of 1 pair of TWINS gloves after finding other equipment not fitting or lasting with use. Then with my involvement in Thai Boxing and Boxing as a fighter and trainer I saw the need to offer the fitness person or fighter at any level the opportunity to obtain and use quality equipment at a reasonable cost.
2001 saw the opening of New Zealands first Boxing & Thai Boxing Supply shop, (After 4 years working full time and part time at the business )we have now been open for 9 years, the product range is getting bigger, and the quality is improving constantly.
The NZ BOXER range started in 2004 after some 2 years of shopping around the world testing products logo designs working with known quality brands who re brand their gear with the NZ BOXER logo Thank You .This range will continue to grow and improve as new products arrive on the world market.
The web site is going to offer a view of all the products we stock and updates will keep all informed . We are lucky to have many outlets around the country, see web site for store locations .

Here we test the equipment while I am involved with Phillip Lam Lee Gar Thai Boxing this is were we test the Thai boxing equipment. Along with supporting many Boxers and Thai Boxers in New Zealand I am constantly receiving feedback on equipment and helping others reach their goals.
NZ BOXER idea came about when I was training in Thai Boxing in Bangkok Thailand.
At the age off 33, I arrived at a camp with a (old) photo of the camp owner with my instructor from New Zealand Eddie Tongalahi .I was invited in and shown a room there were 20-30 fighters living there aged from 13 to 25, I was the old man .Accepted I was, there were Thai Boxers Pro Boxers Amateur Boxers living and training and living there, all helping each other supporting each other, and so were the trainers helping each other. Training was 2hours in the mornings 2 To 2.5 in the evenings 5 and a half days per week.
There was a old lady from the kitchen she walked around at training offering water Yelling Boxer want water Boxer want water All the boxers came to her - we got on well, and so my name became NZ BOXER u want water.
Why worry if we Box, Thai Box, Amateur Box, Pro Box we are all Boxers, Training for our reasons.
